For Whites Only: Whiteness Workshop
February 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Whiteness is not a thing; Whiteness Is
This session is intended to be an open space for discussion about who we imagine America and ourselves as Americans to be. We will examine how our respective experiences determine our place in America. Participants will be asked to open their minds to a philosophical possibility that is outside the boundaries of traditional discussions about culture and race. This 90 minute interactive workshop invites participants to take a critical look at the Cultural Worldview Model and place it in context of what it means to be white–no matter an individual’s color or race–in America.
