Festival celebrates rich history of African-Americans in New Mexico

For five years, the New Mexico Black History Month Festival has promoted cross-cultural understanding.

And this year is no different.

“New Mexico has a rich tapestry in history…We want to be able to tell our stories as well, and this is an opportunity to learn about it.”
